Sorry everyone! This one`s gonna be short!
This week was awesome! Working really hard and seeing the blessings from the Lord!
This week we were able to take Martha to a baptism
and she liked it a lot. she told us afterwards that she feels a lot
better getting baptized now. She got baptized in another church years
ago in a river and the current took her away andshe
didn`t know how to swim so she almost drowned! Thank goodness for
baptismal fonts!
Yesterday four of our investigators were
interviewed for baptism! Marta Vargas and her son Ismael and Dolores`s
two sons Clinton and Franklin.
Dolores was also going to be interviewed but when
she got to the chapel last night she showed up with her ex husband and
said that they wanted to get back together! I felt like I was in a
novela (soap opera). It`s ok though. She told us
that she understands the law of chastity and that she still wants to
get baptized so we`re ok. We are going to visit her and her ¨husband¨
tonight. He seems like a great guy so we`ll see how it goes.
There`s always obstacles in life. Just got to have patience, hope, work hard, and not give up!
