Hello people!

So this week was a lot better! Man I feel a lot better! thanks for the prayers and stuff! you guys are just the bees knees.

Anyways what happened this week?

First off, we had an activity with the ward that didn`t go too well. The ward members all promised to bring non member friends and stuff like that and no one came but members... So the ward mission leader (kind of a weirdo) basically lectured the whole ward... awkward. It was frustrating though. It`s us and the assistants in the same ward and there`s not much progress cause we never have time outside the office. UGH! But the good news is is that i felt good the whole week and worked just normal.

We said bye to an elder this week and went to his last supper with him and the president. Have I told you all lately that my president is the most inspired man on earth recently? well he is. Easily my favorite part about being in the office is just listening to him all the time. Just wow.

So like i said we had no time out of the office this week and we had a tooooon of lessons planned with new people and we missed every. single. one. I think we had like three lessons this week. SAD! and they were such good lessons too. It was amazing. We were contacting and we just started to just talk about how the lord helps us through trials. No idea why we did but the investigator ended up crying and telling us that they`re going through some stuff right now and that`s just what they needed to hear... wow... the spirit`s cool. It`s like a super power. so anyways we had only a few lessons this week but they were reallly really good so we`ll reschedule with them for next week.

my new comp, elder flores is suuuuuuper good at street contacting. We`ve gotten really into it. We`re just walking and he just will decide to talk with someone and it`s just really cool. Very fun and different. I like talking with strangers.

we had a newbie in our house the other day for immigrations and he has two weeks in the mission and i`ve never seen someone more proud. He thinks he`s fluent already and just the best. we went out with him after he was done with immigrations and he acted like he was training us. it was super weird. my comp doesn`t speak english fluently but he started yelling and him saying BE HUMBLE! That part was funny. cause man was he just a little proud goober. he`s a hard worker but probably the most annoying missionary i`ve ever talked to. Sorry for venting but that elder... man.

anyways that`s about it. we have some new people like Tania, familia montaño, laura calle, and others so the work is progressing. we just need time to actually teach them haha.

talk to you all next week!

Hi everyone!

So carnaval was this week. Man naps are nice let me tell ya. Lots of study time. I read our search for happiness, our heritage, true to the faith, and a chunk of the book of mormon. Man studying is cool. Not gonna lie i didn`t read the scriptures much before the mish but once you get in the habit of reading them they`re awesome! read them! Also the elders in our house stinking know how to cook! man tasty stuff.

After carnaval we were able to go out again, in the office and stuff. I found out this week that the clinics outside of santa cruz are all ticked at the insurance so i`ve been calling them and helping them out with the insurance. We have an amazing insurance but bolivians just have a hard time sometimes understanding everything haha. besides that pretty boring in the office. No one really got sick recently so it`s been chill.

so i got new companion. Elder flores. he`s from el salvador and he`s pretty cool. REALLY sarcastic and sometimes a little hard headed but he`s cool. He`s really smart too. He knows his scriptures! That`s impressive.

It`s a little tough in our area right now cause we haven`t been able to work alot the past two weeks cause i was sick and carnaval so we`re basically starting from scratch. Really frustrating but a learning experience. But i heard that another one of my investigators from my old area is getting baptized this week! Rene Rocha. He`s a little weird but he understands the restoration. super happy for him.

So i told you about the president`s son right? he`s special but he got called as a service missionary in our mission! He`s even living in our house! Super cool! He`s super funny. You have to have patience with him but he`s just awesome. Literally the sweetest spirit in the entire world.

Alright quick spiritual experience. So there`s a missionary named Elder Ibañez who went home about three weeks ago. He was supposed to go home last week but the president just felt like the lord wanted him home right then. So he changed his flight and sent him home the next day. Elder Ibañez`s dad has cancer and what happened was his dad ended up passing away one day before he was originally set to go home. WOW! revelation exists. My president is amazing. I feel the spirit with him every day. wow.

Alright I`m out of time but i at least got a little info for ya guys right? haha talk to you next week.

Alright everyone what´s up?

So not too much to update on this week... Who am I kidding, I always got some junk to say. Ready or not here it comes!

So work wise not much cause all the newbies came so we´ve pretty much been in the office all week. I´m also a bit under the weather so when we have had time I´ve been told to rest.

So the newbies. MAN I love receiving newbies! they look like a suuuuper good group. There´s a couple in particular that i already love. We got a poly! his name is elder Fusi, he´s fat, doesn´t speak a word of Spanish and he is awesome! man he´s gonna be so powerful in the mission. Ya know, after he learns to speak. We also got this other elder who looks EXACTLY like one of those rich old white southern slave owners from those old movie. Suspenders and all, and he´s from Georgia. He also doesn´t speak Spanish but he´s also AWESOME!

So I´m a little under the weather so i had to go to the doc and GUESS WHAT! When I was waiting they had flipping Frozen playing in English with Spanish subtitles right in front of me! Now how am I supposed to resist that! Just one of my favorite movies! Everyone knows Elsa is ma Gurl! I just had to "Let it go". MAN!

With the sickness I had to get endoscoped... What the Junk! that is not natural! They told me that they were gonna stick a hose in my mouth and it won´t hurt at all, won´t be weird at all. LIES! You guys should totally try it though. It´s great.

So right after this We´re going straight home and we´re gonna be stuck in the house through Wednesday for Carnival. the Bolivians gonna PARTAY! so we bought some fun stuff for the house and then we´re gonna go crazy of boredom for a few days but I´m still under the weather so I´m kind of looking forward to rest for a while.

Man not too much to update on this week... Sorry. I´ll let you all know how partying it up during Carnival was next week. Love you!

... Another week has gone by and I have no idea what to tell you people. Weeks are starting to blur together so I have no idea if I`ll be telling you people new stuff or stuff you`ve already heard. Let`s hope it`s new stuff but if it`s old stuff it must just be because the spirit wanted you to get something else out of stuff i`ve already written.

Alright so first thing. We got to watch meet the mormons with the president last week for pday. Super weird seeing him without a shirt and tie on. He`s actually a pretty fashionable guy. Plaid button up shirt. That`s class my friend. We all enjoyed it so much that we had a whole mission activity on monday that i got to plan and be in charge of on monday where we got all the missionaries in santa cruz together and watched meet the mormons. man mormons are cool. i`m really glad I saw that movie and now i`ve met the mormons.

In other news I am now Elder buma, Rat Killer. We have a bunch of rats in our house (super cool right) and one night we got one trapped in our room so we TORE OUR ROOM UP! I have never heard grown men scream like little girls so much. True, I was the one doing most of the screaming but everyone else was screaming too. Oh man you should have been there when that stupid thing touched my foot. MMMMHHHHHMMMMM! I was a five year old girl for five seconds. It`s ok though. We eventually killed it with our brooms. There was probably a better way to do it but we got the job done! It was actually pretty fun but then we had to fix the room up after which blew! oh well.

So my companions pretty cool right? well i`m not sure if i told you this but back in october his lung basically exploded and he had to have surgery. he`s better now but not completely so the president finally decided this week to send him a transfer early to his house so he`s actually going home on tuesday... NO! Man he was super cool. We would always speak in english to get him ready for his test and now it`s back to just spanish! I love spanish, don`t get me wrong but i really enjoyed speaking in english. I`m very grateful to have had elder sullca as a companion. He`s taught me a lot and i`ll miss him but it`s time that he goes home. i assume my companion will be elder zelaya now. a nicaraguan who is famous in the mission. He had 17 baptisms in one transfer! WOW! super good missionary. I think i`ll learn a lot from him.

So i`m already out of time. Van a desculpar, ya? Things are good here, busy, and this week we`ll be pretty busy bringing in the new guys so that`ll be fun. Keep me updated! talk to you later!
